Pulmochart Reference
Assignment of the available signals in the raw file to known signals in the Start app.

2. Specify the signals in your file that correspond to known signals

Overview

The signals used in the analysis ("Pulmochart default input signals") are matched to the corresponding measurement signals. If desired, additional signals can be added.

Details

The signals in the measurement file are matched to the known signals flow (Flow), pressure (P), inductive plethysmography rib cage band (RC), Inductive plethysmography abdomen band (AB) and the main capnography signal (CO2). Signal matching is necessary, because the signals in the measurement file may have different names than the software expects.

Signal matching is done for each signal by clicking on the drop-down menu of the respective signal in the Select signals in your file panel. The original signal that best fits the known signal should be chosen. Raw signals should be always preferred instead of filtered signals. If a signal is not included, chose 'not used'.
Additional signals are not used in the breath detection, but they can be included from the drop-down list in the panel on the right. Additional signals are included by clicking Add and removed by clicking Remove.

If everything is adapted, this button continues the breath detection ("3. Specify a source for pre-processing").
