There are different respiratory analysis methods for different measurements and different analysis aims.

In Pulmochart mainly two different respiratory analysis methods are used, spirometry and respiratory inductive plethysmography.

Spirometry

Spirometry ("Spirometry") is based on flow and pressure measurements.
This technique is used in the SPIRO app ("SPIRO/ FLOW/PRES App").

Respiratory inductive plethysmography

Respiratory inductive plethysmography (RIP) ("Respiratory Inductive Plethysmography (RIP)") is a method to access volumetric changes from rib cage and abdomen movements during breathing.
This method is used in the RIP app ("RIP App").
