Phase shifts of (file name)
OverviewThe phase shift occurs, when the start of an inspiration is not identical for the abdomen and the thorax band ("Phase shifts").
The time delay between the start of an inspiration at the abdomen band and the inspiration start at the thorax band is measured.
The phase shift is the time delay divided by the length of the respiratory cycle multiplied with 360°.
DetailsThe phase shift can be reviewed in different viewers indicating the visual inspiratory phase shifts, the calculation inspiratory phase shift and other signals:
VIsual Inspiratory Phase Shifts, Calculation Inspiratory Phase Shift (in degrees) and Other signals
These reviewers show results of the RIP analysis with respect to phase shifts.
The signals in the review monitors can be scrolled by dragging the scroll bar at the bottom or the yellow Center Cursor in the reviewer to the left or right.
Additionally the signals can be scaled by clicking the respective buttons at the right of these reviewers (top down).
1. button: automatic scaling of all signals (adaptation of the shown signal ranges according to the value ranges of the signals) If a signal is indicated in the reviewer and it is not visible, this might be due to an inappropriate value range.
(2. button: increasing all offsets (increase of signal offsets))
(3. button: decreasing all offsets (but the button increase the signal offsets))
Furthermore all review monitors can be zoomed with the two buttons in the lower right corner of the screen (from left to right).
1. button: zoom out
2. button: zoom in
This button directs to the start screen of the RIP app ("Initialization of the RIP APP").
This button directs to the review screen of FRC changes ("FRC changes of (file name)").
This button directs to the review screen of tidal volume changes ("Tidal volume changes of (file name)").
