Ventilation modes

Detailed information about ventilation modes and possible effects on respiratory analysis results are described in "Mechanical ventilation". Furthermore the influence of spontaneous breathing during ventilation is discussed.

Gas relation

In order to obtain comparable respiratory analysis results, the circumstances of the inhaled and exhaled gas need to be standardized. Different volume pressure and temperature relations of gas and a standardization is presented in "Gas volume temperature relation".
